The whatsapp group was started by Burgh Heath resident, Mandy O’Brien, after one of the ducks on her nearby pond was killed.
Member numbers to the group have swelled as more people pledge to “keep an eye out” for vulnerable wildlife.
Mandy wants people living in other parts of South West London and Surrey to launch their own Mother Goose patrols.
