Two extra jet-washing vehicles will be added, while some busy roads will be swept every day instead of twice a week.
The council says it’ll respond faster to reports of graffiti and rubbish, and trial fox-proof food bins in some areas.
The authority is currently under scrutiny for proposals to raise council tax by £958 for a Band D property which is an increase of 94%.
