Wandsworth Council has again urged the Health Secretary to reconsider the transfer of children’s cancer services away from St George’s Hospital in Tooting.

The Evelina Hospital in central London is the preferred option for the new children’s cancer care centre.

Cllr Simon Hogg, along with the MP for Tooting, Dr Rosena Allin-Khan, first expressed their concern on this issue back in May.

The NHS public consultation on the matter is expected to launch soon.
