The matter of breaching multi-club ownership rules is being looked into due to John Textor’s involvement with Lyon.
Textor, who sold his shares in Palace last week, also has a stake in the French club.
The delayed decision is due to financial issues at Lyon which have seen them relegated to the French second division.
