One man, found in possession of a bolt cutter, has been arrested for burglary, handling stolen goods, cycle theft and drug offences.
Another suspect has been arrested in relation to 17 cases of criminal damage to motor vehicles, including slashing tyres.
Further investigations revealed that he might be linked to 30 more incidents.
