Two people from Thornton Heath are to appear at the Old Bailey, in connection to a murder in Croydon.

28-year-old Hugo Da Silva Pires, who’s been charged with murder, will appear tomorrow.

Meanwhile, 31-year-old Catira Feliciano will appear late next month, and is charged with fraud and perverting the course of justice.

76-year-old Nelly Akomah was found dead at a home in Ladbrook Road last Wednesday.
