The first blaze in St James’s Road in the early hours resulted in the roof collapsing.
Firefighters were called to the second incident in Gloucester Road just after 6am.
The former Windmill and Drum & Monkey pubs are the ones at the centre of this morning’s blazes.
Firefighters used 999Eye to live stream from a smart phone to screens in the Control Room allowing for greater visibility of the incident.
There are no reports of any injuries at either scene.
