Two children have been charged after an alleged burglary at a college near Gunnersbury Park during which a number of animals died.

The incident at Capel Manor College was reported on the 25th of February.

A barn owl escaped and was later found at a warehouse near Heathrow but staff say other animals perished during the break in.

The 11 and 12 year old boys are accused of two counts of burglary and one of animal cruelty.
