Twelve fire engines and eighty firefighters were called to Wellington Avenue in Worcester Park last night.

A fire destroyed part of the ground floor and half of the first floor of a semi-detached house, along with its roof and two garages.

Part of a neighbouring house was also damaged.

There are no reported injuries, and everyone evacuated safely. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
