Three men, two of them from Staines, have appeared in court charged with offences linked to the use of counterfeit currency.

22 year old Martin Mongan and 18 year old Michael Mongan have been charged with forgery, counterfeiting and money laundering.

An investigation was launched after a report that fake bank notes had been used at Westfield in Shepherd’s Bush on Monday the 29th May.

Martin was remanded in custody and Michael was released on bail, both to appear in court on the 3rd of November.
