Three charities in Spelthorne have been nominated for The King’s Award for Voluntary Service.

The accolade is the highest given to volunteer groups across the UK.

Citizens Advice Runnymede and Spelthorne, The Phoenix Project in Ashford and Sunbury Ferry are the three nominated.

The winners will be announced in November.
