There were no reported cases of white goods being fly-tipped in Sutton in 2022 according to newly released government figures.

That’s despite London having the most reported cases in the country.

The statistics show there were more than one million reported fly tipping incidents in the year ending March 2023.

In London, there were 13,700 reports with the North West and the South East of the country making up the rest of the top three.

Haringey in North London was the borough with the most reported cases in the country with 2,756 incidents.

However, there were no incidents reported in Sutton in the same time frame, making it joint-best in the country.
