There has been a rise in reports of the highly contagious Norovirus at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital.

Anyone who has the bug is being asked not to visit patients until three days after their symptoms have passed.

The advice is that diarrhoea and/or vomiting generally resolves within 72 hours.

But hospital bosses say the virus is difficult to contain on wards and spreads easily.
