Fraudsters tell victims they need to register their badge via an ATM, then steal their bank card while their attention is diverted.
The most recent incident occurred at Tesco on Staines Road West.
The suspect’s described as a tanned man, 5’4, with slick black hair and was wearing a blue surgical mask and tracksuit.
Officers are warning people to stay vigilant and report anything suspicious.
