The Thames towpath between Richmond Lock and Kew Gardens car park on Ferry Lane is still entirely closed

This follows the collapse of a section of the towpath last October.

Richmond Council says since the collapse engineers have been working with specialist contractors to investigate and to explore temporary and permanent solutions.

Councillor Alexander Ehmann has given an update.
