Paul Scully has been responding to news Sutton Council has raised car parking charges for people using cash at machines.
The authority says “maintaining the parking machines has become more expensive.”
Mr Scully, who is Sutton’s MP, says cashless is the way forward, but it shouldn’t be at the expense of those who can’t do it.
