One-hundred Italian chefs gathered at the Town Hall over the weekend.
They wanted to beat the previous Guinness World Record set by Milanese Galbani in Milan, which stood at 897ft long.
The Tiramisu had to be assembled live on site and the record was broken with the dessert measuring 1,445ft.
