The Queen’s Club is to host a tour level women’s tennis tournament for the first time in over 50 years next season.
The site in Kensington is home to the premier men’s Wimbledon warm-up each summer and will put on a WTA Tour grass-court event.
The competition will be held the week after the French Open.
Tournaments in Birmingham and Nottingham will move, as a result.
