The Prime Minister’s described the sudden death of Cambridge professor Jason Arday as a “tragedy on so many levels”.

He was found unresponsive yesterday at his home in Battersea, days after resigning from the Faculty of Education.
The 41-year-old – who became the university’s youngest black professor – had denied allegations of plagiarism.
The academic’s family say he faced “sustained abuse”.
