The police officer who rammed an escaped cow in Staines has been removed from frontline duties while an investigation takes place.

A ten-month-old calf – who is now back with her owners – was running loose on Friday night when she was struck by the vehicle.

Police say they’ve referred the incident to the Independent Office for Police Conduct.
