The MP for Sutton and Cheam says we should be allowed to know who nominated former Post Office boss Paula Vennells for a CBE.

Paul Scully is the former Post Minister who launched the compensation scheme for victims of the Horizon scandal.

The Cabinet Office says nominations for honours are strictly confidential.

But Mr Scully says people have a right to know.

Ms Vennells has handed back her CBE in the wake of the Post Office IT scandal.
