The Met is asking a coroner not to resume the inquest into the death of a man in Streatham Hill.

It says Chris Kaba’s death has already been examined through an IOPC investigation and criminal trial.

The firearms officer who shot him was acquitted by a jury and will not face a misconduct hearing.

The coroner will decide later whether the inquest should go ahead.
