The Mayor of Croydon is leading a campaign to remove abandoned vehicles from Croydon’s streets.

In the council’s latest operation, five vehicles were removed from Parchmore Road in Thornton Heath.

The council, in partnership with the DVLA is also in the process of removing additional abandoned vehicles from Croydon’s streets.

Mayor Jason Perry emphasised ‘these vehicles not only make driving and parking difficult, but make our streets look abandoned’.
