The Lib Dem leader is calling on the Government to scrap energy bill rise for pensioners stripped of Winter Fuel Payment.

It comes as energy regulator Ofgem today confirmed that the price cap for energy bills is set to rise a further 6.4% from April.

Sir Ed Davey says he is really worried about the effect the rise will have on pensioners in his Kingston and Surbiton constituency.

The Liberal Democrats are also calling for the introduction of an energy social tariff, to protect vulnerable people living in fuel poverty.
