Labour’s Ross Garrod has also created a new cabinet post focused specifically on tackling antisocial behaviour.
Councillor Edith Macauley has been appointed as the Member for Enforcement and Community Safety.
She will oversee a safer streets patrol pilot, fly tipping enforcement and will also work closely with borough police.
