The Kingston Rotary and Kingston Round Table clubs have cancelled their fireworks event this year.

They said “it has become clear that it would be difficult, costly & very time consuming to put on a safe and successful event this year”.

Several events across London have been cancelled as a result of budget cuts or other circumstances.

The nearest major fireworks display to Kingsmeadow is Morden Park’s fireworks display.
