The grass court tennis season has officially begun and Andy Murray is due at Surbiton.

In men’s qualifying at the Surbiton Trophy tennis tournament there were wins for Brits Jay Clarke, Arthur Fery, Billy Harris, Daniel Cox and Harry Wendelken.

Andy Murray has been given a wildcard for the event where he reached the semi-finals last year. He’ll start his campaign at the Surbiton Tennis Trophy tomorrow afternoon.

There are also wild cards for Dan Evans and Ryan Peniston.

British number two Jodie Burrage, Katie Boulter, Harriet Dart, Katie Swan and Heather Watson are all in the women’s main draw.
