The father, stepmother and uncle of Sara Sharif – the 10-year-old whose body was found at the family home in Woking last month – will stand trial next autumn.

Urfan Sharif, Beinash Batool and Faisal Malik appeared at the Old Bailey this morning after they returned from Pakistan to face murder charges.

A post-mortem exam found she’d suffered “multiple and extensive injuries” over a long period.
