58-year-old Martin John Chessman died following a collision involving multiple vehicles on the morning of the 27th of January.
“Martin, who resided in Ashford but was raised in Chertsey, was a loving partner, father, brother, son, uncle and friend. Martin is survived by his children, Adam and Jessica, his wife Diana and three siblings, Julie, Peter and Lisa.
“Martin’s generosity knew no bounds and he would always make time in his day if someone needed him. His great sense of humour and charismatic nature always managed to bring out a smile in everyone – no matter the circumstances – and he was someone that you could approach with absolutely anything. Martin simply brought joy to the world.
“Martin was extremely intelligent and worked as Treasury Manager for MGI Midgley Snelling LLP for 40 years. He had a great love for music and was a massive Crystal Palace fan, being a season ticket holder for as long as anyone can remember.
“Martin loved to travel and in Diana he found the most willing of companions, sharing their love of different cultures and sights, carving out indelible memories.
“Martin really made the most out of this life and will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.”
