The technology secretary says a “world-first” statement on the risks around artificial intelligence has been agreed at the start of a two-day AI summit organised by the UK.
The AI Safety Summit is taking place at Bletchley Park, the Second World War home of Britain’s codebreaking geniuses who decrypted secret Nazi messages.
Tech bosses and some world leaders will attend, but Joe Biden snubbed his invite and major European counterparts are not expected either.
