Border Force officers are warning people heading to countries including Thailand and Africa not to visit orphanages.
It’s after charity, Hope and Homes for Children, said 8 out of 10 of the 5.4 million children in orphanages worldwide have living family.
Many are trafficked out of their homes and into orphanages, to elicit donations from well-meaning travellers from the UK.
