The campaign to get Kingston Council to reverse an increase in parking charges has stepped up a gear.

Gia Borg-Darcie, a self-employed tutor, started a petition against the plans that was signed by over 1,000 people.

Councillors have now discussed it at a meeting and acknowledged that some of the price increases will be looked at.
