Thames Water is seeking permission from the competition regulator to charge customers even more over the next five years.

The water company previously asked for a 59% increase to bills but the regulator settled on 35%

The UK’s biggest water supplier is currently £19 billion in the red, and only has enough cash to see it through to March the 24th.
