Sutton council has given the green light to the next phase of the town centre regeneration.

It’s announced Genr8 Kajima Regeneration Ltd is to deliver the next part of the development.

Around 740 new homes will replace the St Nicholas Centre, Gibson Road car park and Secombe theatre which closed in 2016.

Sutton Council also plans to give residents access to its services via a new ‘Civic Hub’ on the high street by 2029.
