It’s after new data by Action Fraud has revealed £6.7 million was lost nationwide to ticket fraud last year.
Surrey Police received 146 reports of ticket fraud in 2023, which resulted in a loss to customers of over £80,000.
The advice is to only buy tickets from the venue’s box office, the promoter, an official agent or a well-known exchange site.
