Surrey Police have reported they’ve received several complaints of youths using catapults to injure wildlife in Ashford and Stanwell.

Officers are reminding anyone who intends to harm animals and birds with catapults is committing a criminal offence.

The Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 protects wild animals, plants, and habitats.

Police are urging the public to continue to reports these incidents and contact them with any information on 101.
