Surrey Police have carried out checks to tackle money laundering and crime linked to high street businesses.

The checks took place yesterday under Operation Machinize (sic), led by the National Crime Agency.

Last month, two businesses on Walton High Street were ordered to close for 3 months over concerns about anti-social behaviour and drugs.

Police are urging residents to report any suspicious activity to help tackle crime in their communities.
