Surrey Police has reorganised itself from three policing areas into two in preparation for devolution.

The county’s 11 borough and district councils are being merged into East and West Unitary Authorities from next April.

Police say the move will help officers work better and deal with modern policing pressures more efficiently.

The force says the public should not notice any difference to day-to-day policing services.
