Surrey Fire and Rescue Service observed a minute’s silence yesterday to remember the firefighters who lost their lives in the line of duty.

It was to mark Firefighters’ Memorial Day, held annually on 4th May internationally.

The minute’s silence was held at 12pm to acknowledge their service and unwavering commitment to keeping our communities safe.
