Surrey Fire and Rescue is on the lookout for more volunteers.

The service says it’s looking for people who are passionate about fire safety who can work closely with the county’s firefighters.

Volunteers will be trained up in first aid, help at public events and promote fire prevention advice.

Individuals from all walks of life are encouraged to apply, as long as they’re over 18, enthusiastic and committed to making a difference.
