The scheme, which will run until the end of March, allows Ukrainian nationals to travel for free on their most used bus route.
It remains open for new applicants who can apply for a free pass, and existing applicants can extend passes to a maximum of nine months.
The cabinet member for Transport, Matt Furniss says he is “delighted” with the extension.
