It has been rated “inadequate” despite previously being rated ‘good’ following an inspection in 2019.
Every aspect of the school inspected, including the quality of education, has been given the rating.
The report noted “too many” pupils refuse to attend lessons and when they do, their experiences are “very inconsistent”.
The report also noted that the use of racist and homophobic language has become normalised between pupils.
Many said that they would not report this behaviour because they are not confident it will be dealt with effectively.
