Streatham Hill Theatre has been placed on the “at risk of closure” list.

It’s one of 39 venues nationwide named on the Theatres Trust At Risk Register, published today.

A planning application to turn the Grade II building into a church has been submitted to Lambeth Council.

But Claire Appleby, from Theatres Trust, says she hopes the site will remain as a theatre.
