More than a 1,000 local people facing life limiting illnesses are cared for by St. Raphael’s nurses each year.
The hospice helps people in the comfort of their own home or onsite at no charge.
It costs £6.5 million a year to provide care with only 25 per cent coming from the government.
People can donate to the campaign by signing up for regular giving or with a one-off donation.
