Long-delayed public hearings into Spelthorne Council’s local plan will finally take place in the New Year.

The Council asked the planning inspector to pause consideration 18 months ago because of worries about flooding.

Since then the council has agreed with the environment agency to remove from the plan five sites prone to flooding.

The public hearings will now take place in the council offices on Monday 27th January, and continue on February 10th and 17th.
