Sir Ed Davey has admitted he could have ‘gone further’ when he was Post Office Minister at the time of the Horizon IT scandal.

The Lib Dem leader and MP for Kingston and Surbiton’s been accused by the campaigner Alan Bates of ‘being at arms length’ during his time in the role.

More than 900 sub-postmasters were wrongly prosecuted for stealing because of the IT software.
