The council has given residents an update on the Kingfisher, which closed its doors in December 2019 and was demolished in 2022.
It’s after structural issues were found within the roof and the repair bill was expected to cost more than £5 million.
Company, Alliance Leisure, has been brought in to oversee the project with a planning application expected in the coming months.
