Singer songwriter Raye, who was born in Tooting and grew up in Croydon, was among winners at this year’s Association of Independent Music Awards.

Wet Leg and Bjork also won awards at the event which celebrates smaller record labels.

The Belgian group Soulwax were recognised for their outstanding contribution to music at the event in London.

British rapper and singer Avelino won best independent album for God Save The Streets.
