Several officers from Britain’s biggest police force are threatening a mass-downing of weapons – if the identity of one of their colleagues is exposed.

An unconfirmed number of armed staff from the Metropolitan Police have already stepped back from duties.

It’s after a colleague was charged with murdering Chris Kaba in Streatham Hill.

That person’s been granted anonymity by a judge – but this could be lifted at a hearing next week.

Former Met officer Simon Harding says that’s concerning.
