Their union has said they describe their pay offer as “disrespectful and demoralising”.
The guards are asking for £16 an hour, and currently earn £11.95 an hour.
They are not eligible for sick pay until the fourth day of the absence. They are also demanding more annual leave and compassionate leave.
Strikes will start next month if they are voted to go ahead.
